Sealed Concrete at Union Street Market

Union Street Market on the Electric Works campus opened in November 2022 in downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana, after years of planning and construction. The Market is home to a variety of local vendors who serve prepared foods, fresh foods, desserts, and beverages.

Dancer Concrete Design installed our StrongTread Hardwear sealed concrete system in the upstairs mezzanine as well as a kitchen space in the West Hall. StrongTread Hardwear uses the same penetrating concrete densifiers and stain guard products as our polished concrete systems but is more affordable compared to polished concrete. This sealed system provides a more durable finish than traditional acrylic concrete sealers, as the products we use penetrate the concrete and harden over time to make the floor abrasion resistant and easy to clean.
