Polished Concrete at Union Street Market

Union Street Market on the Electric Works campus opened in November 2022 in downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana, after years of planning and construction. The Market is home to a variety of local vendors who serve prepared foods, fresh foods, desserts, and beverages.

Over 17,000 square feet of concrete floors were polished in the main food courts and adjoining common seating space by Dancer Concrete Design. We installed our StrongTread Classic system in the food courts, giving the main space a consistent salt-and-pepper finish. In the adjoining seating area, StrongTread Deep was installed, bringing out larger stones in the floor to define the common space. The polished concrete floors complement the industrial architecture of the Electric Works campus and provide an easy-to-maintain flooring system that will last for years to come.
