DANCER Pool Deck+ is a ready-made system for pool decks and surrounds, offering an even surface and superior slip resistance where safety matters most. Many facilities are looking to replace outdated tile and get rid of dirty grout joints. The removal of tile can be costly, dusty, noisy, and it can create issues with existing floor elevations, especially when anchored in a mud bed. When the existing tile is sound and solid, we can use a skim coat process and specialty priming method to bond to existing tile and grout joints. This is something we’ve been doing for over a decade in bathrooms, lockers rooms, commercial kitchens, and pool decks.
The thick epoxy body coat, chip broadcast, and satin finish with added grip eliminate telegraphing from tile grout lines underneath, resulting in an even, grippy pool deck. We use our TreadWell Decorative Chip as the basis of design for this system, which offers unlimited color combinations, multiple finishes, and added grip where safety matters most.
